Life is like a game, where you have to keeping playing, fighting or destroying obstacles to move to the next level. It is about survival of the fittest, that when you loose a challenge you either get kicked out, start from the beginning or defeated.
We all would love for life to be a bed filled with roses where we get to eat our cake more than once. But since this isn’t the case we need to be strong and set up tactics that help us beat the challenges of each day and move to the next stage or level.
So when the life changing events threaten to either knock you off,kick you into depression or total surrender, in order to avoid losingwhen those circumstances come, these five points should be your guide.
5 WAYS TO REMAIN UNDEFEATED IN LIFE
1. SELF DEVELOPMENT
Self development involves advancing yourself in all areas of your life. You cannot survive in an evolving world with archaic skills eg.going to battle of guns with a spear, enhancing and learning new skills or knowledge helps you stay strong in this dynamic world.

You can gain more knowledge through books that empower your mind, help you cultivate skills that are beneficial in your surroundings, set self actualizing goals and carrying out activities that expand your potentials. Developing your self will equip you with all that you need when tough situations arise. Never stop learning and growing!
2. SET A GOAL
Inorder to stay grounded and never defeated, you set a standard for yourself, goals that are self actualizing, goals that you can achieve. When you do these you keep yourself busy, strengthen your abilities and curtail your excesses. Goal setting gives you direction and helps you stay focus. You have a clear sense of purpose and what is important in life, you are able to control your future and stay motivated as well as gain satisfaction in life.
It is not bad if you do not reach all your goals but it is better to face life with focus and aspirations than have to wander aimlessly, you loose in life when you do not aspire to achieve something.

Your goals can be written down so that you always see them and be reminded of your purpose, they don’t have to be something extremely challenging, they could be; to read two books in a week, financial, organisational or personal goals.
3. HAVE A GUIDE/MENTOR
A guide is someone or a mentor that advises you, shows you what to do or motivates you. This person mentors, helps you achieve your goals and inspires you, they can help you when you are down, struggling and remind you of your set targets.

Your guide can be a trusted elderly person, a teacher, friend or your parents, someone with tangible experience about life, that can help you create your own path. You can also seek guidance in inspiriational and spiritual books like the Quran and Bible, these books have words and verses that speak on various aspects of life that can help in healing, calm the mind, motivation, meditation,perseverance and focus.
4. BE DETERMINED, FOCUSED AND MOTIVATED
Life is not for the faint hearted because you need to be strong, determined, focused and motivated when it gives you storms.
Being determined enables you to keep trying even though things seem difficult, staying focused on your ambition is a source of great strength and the ability to remain motivated is really courageous. When you employ these, you are able to push through the setbacks and disappointments of life, you will have the desire, aim and optimism to never lose.

If you have no one to motivate you, you can motivate yourself, self motivation helps you take control of your life, be motivated by your desire to succeed, cause positive change, grow and you will achieve anything.
5. STAY STRONG, KEEP FIGHTING
To remain undefeated, you have to keep fighting. When life throwsstones at you, create a footpath with them and walk through the hurdles. Learn to create your own opportunities, when you fall pick yourself up and remain determined.
